Hey Rick,
I don't have much internet access for the next week, but I wanted to continue the serious discussion about the global BID strategy to which you and Karen responded seriously.
The global BID strategy to divide the worlds' cities between the few haves, while the masses of have nots exist in slums surrounding these, is part of the international plutocracy movement. It's the part of the global plutocracy dividing our cities before our eyes.
This bag of logical fallacies and disingenous editing tricks used by Mikey and Brian are their attempt to destroy any important discussion which they cannot win. It's the same bag of tricks used by the likes of FOX News, etc. Because the study of philosophy and logic has been degraded for decades, these tricks and the nastiness are not rejected the way these tactics would be, if society was more literate in the humanities.
Mikey and Brian can never offer rational discourse or refutation to conversations about policy or justice, because the world they want cannot be backed up with long held principles and values! (I imagine this is why Bill McGill got nasty as well).
My hope is that passive readers wise up to the tactics (which Brian and the FOCP leaders have used for years). What happens here are the same tactics and patterns that are fueling the class war, while the middle class watches helplessly. Mikey, Bll, and Brian are serving an important role if people on our listserv study and start rejecting thes tactics!
When a few of us stood up to these same bullying type of tactics previously, UCNeighbors was formed and fled to the protection of censorship which the University of Pennsylvania afforded them. Everyone else was able to see how those without "cogent" arguments are also the same people who both serve and abuse power!
I'm glad that Mikey, Brian, and unfortunately Bill; continue to help expose tactics that are threatening to destroy our Republic by being such jerks. While our revolution is gaining traction in cities across the countryt, the hope for society depends on the middle class embracing values and principles which have been dormant too long! They need to speak out against these tactics, if our society is to get on a better course!
Battery is getting low, but I would love to get back to the serious discussion with you and Karen when I get back to Philadelphia or Boston.
All the best,
Glenn
