Here is a desktop recording showing the problem. Note: The screen recorder concatenates both monitors into one "super sized" rectangle. The primary monitor is the left half and the secondary monitor is the right half, with no visible separation. When icons appear on the 2nd monitor they show just to the right of the center of the recorded image.
For this vidwo I set the resolutions of both monitors to be similar, but you can see a narrow black rectangle under the primary monitor because it is set to slightly smaller vertical dimension than the other monitor. The primary mon is 1920x1080 and the 2nd monitor was 1920x1200 (it's native res). ** Description changed: In Settings->Desktop : Desktop Layout With "Show icons on all monitors" then icons only appear on the primary monitor. With "Show icons on non-primary monitor(s) only" the icons do appear on - the 2nd monitor as expected.
