You have download the SlimServer_6_2_x_v2005-11-10.tar.gz
file to somewhere on your system (I don't know where, but hopefully
you do), so you now have to tell 'tar' where it is.  So the .... bit
needs to be substituted with the actualy path to that file.

tar -xzvf SlimServer_6_2_x_v2005-11-10.tar.gz

and it should unpack the SlimServer_6_2_x_v2005-11-10.tar.gz below the
current directory (you remember that's /usr/local don't you?)
