I decided that as I wanted to run MusicMagic etc. too and wanted to run BOINC (www.climateprediction.net) to buy http://www.torspoal.com/PDF%20datasheets/Silent-XA.pdf and put a 32bit Sempron 3100+ in it (will upgrade to Athlon 64 3200+ when I don't need that CPU in my desktop).
I now save the climate with my extra power use and generate little noise (network via my wireless router). It generates practically no noise if you don't run BOINC (allowing machine to suspend/use power saving when not in use). And if you want built in graphics buy the intel version.
