I've purchased a Linkstation (mipsel, 250GB) and have managed to install
Openlink 0.52b, the SlimServer modules (MIPSelSlimServerModules 0.5) and
the SlimServer (6.2.1) which seems to be running ok. The only problem is
that it does not send audio to my SoftSqueeze client.
The servers has created the database. I can browse it using both web
client and SoftSqueeze, but when I try to play something I just get an
error message 'sh: : command not found'. I added the --diag option to
find out what might be wrong and I have the output at the end of this
message in the log file.
The CPAN modules are created in a directory structure perl5 in parallel
to the original perl (5.8.7) library structure, could this cause some
problems? Currently I have not the dev-tools 2.0 installed, but the
problem was the same when I had them installled. (Yes, I have
re-flashed the Linkstation a couple of times already and tried
different approaches...)
The errors pointing to line 1912 in Source.pm are the ones that come
when I press 'play' on Softsqueeze remote. There is a call to findbin
in Misc.pm - as if it was looking for flac binary?
I really would appreciate getting some good ideas!
