Thanks people for all your suggestions. It looks as if I'm in the right ball-park. If any one is interested, here are the two lines I added to /etc/my.cnf to enable query caching on MySQL:
> > [mysqld] > ....other options... > query_cache_size = 10M > query_cache_limit = 5M > Please don't take these values as super-duper tuned. They work for me. Here is a good article that explains in more details what's happening. http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mysql/article.php/3110171 -- Des ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Des's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3495 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23595 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
