Yep, that's the route I could have taken, but I guess I'll abandon the
package for now and go back to a stable nightly build.

See also the thread on the 6.5 builds -- obviously everything is a
little shaky at the moment.

I did kinda assume that the package would be be more stable than the
nightly builds, but this was a bit dumb considering that the package is
built from them.

Here's a thought: why not release the Debian package only 'now and
then'? It makes little sense building debs from an unstable nightly
build, doesn't it? If people really want the latest and greatest, then
they can download the nightlies, but I think people using the deb
package expect it to be somehow more stable than these builds.

Or: release the stable deb packages under 'stable' and the nightly
builds under 'unstable'? At the moment this doesn't seem to be the
case: 6.5 is being released as stable, which it isn't, whilst 6.2 is
being released under testing/unstable, and AFAIK, 6.2 is more stable
than 6.5 at the moment :=)
