Hi,

How did you get slimserver to install with mythtv server then?

I have successfully installed slimserver 6.5b using aptitude on my
mythtv v0.19 client machine, but on my mythtv 0.19 server machine (from
debthehunter archives), when I try to install slimserver it wants to
install a more recent version of mysql-server, and thus delete/remove
current mysql server which thus breaks mythtv-database it says.
I currently have:
mysql-server-4.0.24-10ubuntu2.3 installed
But slimserver wants to install:
mysql-server-4.1 from 4.1.12-1ubuntu3
Hmm (more recent so might work? with mythtv?)

I am running Ubuntu Breezy 5.10 on both computers and I am using the
following in /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.thehunter.ws/ breezy myhttv-stable
deb http://debina slimdevices.com stable main

Do you know how to get around this problem successfully?

Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

Thanks
