Can I get rid of the checking for the floppy?
Do disable the floppy in your computer's bios (you'll have to hit f1, f10, f12, del or whatever your manufacturer has found out right after powering up the machine - watch the screen for an information which key is needed). As long as you don't the machine thinks there is a drive installed - but won't get an answer.
/mnt/hdb5 (which is my disk with my music) to the .bash_profile after the ifconfig and still it does not seem to mount that disk. I have to mount it manually after boot up.
These mountpoints are created at boot time. May be you'd rather create the folder in bootlocal.sh before mounting, eg.:
mkdir /mnt/music mount /dev/hda5 /mnt/music -- Michael ----------------------------------------------------------- Help translate SlimServer by using the StringEditor Plugin (http://www.herger.net/slim/) _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
