After running pre-split-scanner 6.5b1 versions for several months I
decided to try out the latest (17-Aug) nightly. I'm running slimserver
on a PPC LinkStation (HD-HG) that is hacked to run Debian. I downloaded
the tarball, and built the perl modules as per usual. When I try to run
slimserver, either via script or simple command line, I'm getting the
following error messages, after which slimserver dies (it never really
gets started, but the process is there trying to get going for a little
while):

Your copy of mysqld neds to support innodb. Please make sure you're using MySQl
5.0.xx

Ya gotta love UNIX, where else do you wonder whether
you can kill a zombie spawned by a daemon's fork?
