After running pre-split-scanner 6.5b1 versions for several months I decided to try out the latest (17-Aug) nightly. I'm running slimserver on a PPC LinkStation (HD-HG) that is hacked to run Debian. I downloaded the tarball, and built the perl modules as per usual. When I try to run slimserver, either via script or simple command line, I'm getting the following error messages, after which slimserver dies (it never really gets started, but the process is there trying to get going for a little while):
