Well, it doesn't like the format of the checkproc and startproc commands in the script. Which init script did you use? The wiki needs to be cleaned up a bit as there are a few different SUSE init scripts posted. The one in bug 4718 is not in the wiki, but seems to be the cleanest (and has some recently reported successes). I suggest you try that one.
