I had this problem when I upgraded ubuntu to feisty too!

I think that I've got rid of it now - try moving the slimdevices
repository to the top of your sources.list file then run a "sudo
apt-get update" and a "sudo apt-get upgrade". When I did this a couple
of perl libs upgraded & I've not had the problem since.
