I've been a long time fan of the SB, with a few units and recommending
it to all and sundry. However, getting SS 6.5.1/2 finally running today
has spoilt my day by seemingly trashing my setup royally and I wondered
why. Any suggestions appreciated!

I fired up 6.5.2, let it compile a missing perl module, updated the
firmware on the SB's, and looked to see what was new. The first new
thing was that the web interface didn't work on FF so I switched to
Opera for that. Then I saw that the playlists were gone, and there was
no music listed, despite the server settings being the same and
pointing to the right place. After a few more problems such as tons of
perl errors, I decided to switch back to 6.2 or 6.3 that I'd been using
without too many problems. Then I found that the server settings were
trashed, players forgotten etc. I updated the server settings to the
music folder and playlists, but playlists still don't show.

Any ideas as to why 6.5 trashed things so spectacularly, why PlayLists
don't work, and if it's possible to recover things without having to
reset everything would be welcome. Sadly, I didn't backup the SS
settings first, which I didn't expect to have to do but I've learnt
that lesson now!
