Thanks for the replies again, and I suspect that you're right about the scope of changes for 6.5. Backing out a new version had always worked previously when required so I never thought twice about that.
I actually never specified any command line args when starting, and the default was to keep the database and prefs outside of the installation directory and which was great as running new versions always just worked with just a minor perl tweak that was required each time. 6.3 is running OK now, and the playlists came back eventually, including one that I'd hand created which work previously. I thought that playlists were picked up on the fly, but I found that there was a server option to refresh them so that was required. The radio station that I'd tried to access also started working, so I'm happy. I'll hold off switching to 6.5 though and perhaps bite the bullet when 7 comes out. -- ioncube ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ioncube's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2212 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35270 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
