In an earlier thread I raised an issue about the Ubuntu update manager nagging about a libpath-class-perl update that it never carried out properly. But eventually the nag just disappeared. (See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34664)
After I migrated my desktop system (including the music server) to Ubuntu Feisty, this issue is now recurring: the update manager keeps notifying an update to libpath-class-perl 0.15-1; but the update does not install. While searching the net, I discovered the following: "I've had a poke in the slim devices repository and the libpath-class-perl package there has the same version as the one from universe but is different which looks to be confusing apt." I think this is saying that the libclass-path-perl 0.15-1 is called by this name in the slimdevices repository and the Ubuntu Feisty Universe repository; but the pachages are different sizes. How might one go about getting this sorted out? -- Diana -- Diana ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diana's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7463 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35537 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
