I have decided to move my slimserver to a dedicated machine.
It will be low consumption VIA 1000 platform (MSI AXIS 700 lite).
Does not have much power, so I decided to go for some linux (not
Windows).

Before that I had my slimserver on a WinXP machine. So there is some
legacy...

I have:
1) 400GB ATA drive, partition 1 6GB system (previously NTFS), partition
2 394GB loaded with some 300GB of music (still NTFS)
2) 500GB SATA drive, 1:1 copy of that 300GB, NTFS
3) 500GB SATA drive, blank.

Motherboard has 1 ATA bus (for primary & slave) and 2 SATA connectors.

I managed to install Clarkconnect on the primary partition of 400GB
drive. I went for manual setup of partitions, trying not to loose my
collection of music. So now the music partition is unaccessible.
I am now in the process of setting up network access (for windows file
sharing) - it will take me some time, as I am a newbie on linux
ground.

My most important question is how to get it all connected, so that the
music now on NTFS drives will be available for the Clarkconnect
Slimserver?

Another question is should I boot from one of SATA drives (so the ATA
can be stopped if not in use)?

Any help here from some more experienced users?
