HA! looks like you have a similar problem? or is it me?? I'm over here now looking for tips... http://freenas.bcapro.com/kb/ ,Olivier's site. I copied many of those folders from my Ubuntu machine. Many were copied to my Ubuntu from an NTFS volume left over from Windows. Some were copied from a Windows laptop and some were copied right on the NAS. The 'Antônio Carlos Jobim' I had renamed earlier this week and renamed it back (on Ubuntu) with the offending diacritical just before posting. Ubuntu is set to utf8. It seems the FreeNAS is in ISO mode so I'm googling around to see how to switch that over if possible. If I come up with any *.so's or binaries etc. I'll provide a link for you to have a look if you like. It may be a few days or so. I just finally unbroke the ports tree on my brand new installation. It seems something went awry with cvsup probably from following slightly outdated guides. Google can be good and evil at the same time. c. -- curly ------------------------------------------------------------------------ curly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5100 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36074
