Josh Coalson is right - mplayer links into a Microsoft Windows DMO DLL library file to play WMA lossless on Windows and Linux x86 systems. Mplayer cannot play WMA lossless on non x86 Linux systems such as DS-107, Linkstation etc.
For the record - you can put the suggested WMA entries into a custom-convert.conf file and they will override the equivalent WMA entries in convert.conf. This is useful as the custom-convert.conf file should not be overridden if you upgrade. With these WMA entries you will be able to server WMA lossy files to Softsqueeze. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36242 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
