Don't worry about linux as most of the issues about formats and decoders are slimserver related and independent of OS. The main problem is that some decoders are only available for Intel/x86 processors.
The WMA lossless files can only be decoded using Microsoft libraries which are only available for x86 processors. It should be possible to decode and play APE format but you need the "mac" application to be compiled to run on your DS-107 system. Monkey Audio provide the source code - you need to build the mac application yourself or ask somebody else (I believe flipflip is busy and has no time for SSODS until August). I don't know how to build applications for the DS-107 products. I'm not sure what is happening with your custom-convert.conf location. Unless slimserver code has been changed, the Alienbbc custom-convert.conf is always in the Plugin/Alien directory even on Windows. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36242 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
