Michael,

Oh - one issue that is easily fixed...

I noticed that I was not getting the AACplus label in Slimserver's File
Format browser display - it was blank. It turned out that there was a ^M
character terminating the lines in custom-strings.txt, which I removed
using the nano editor. After restarting Slimserver, the label then
appeared fine! So, I would suggest removig that character that appears
at the end of those two lines.

I tested AlienBBC, that works too. I have not tried doing a frugal or
HDD install of 1.87, I suppose I should try that. I noticed that the
firmware version that comes with 1.87 is Rev. 76. Any chance that can
be updated to 81? I have been running a more recent Debian version on
my SlimCD Music Server, and it is working very well.

It is unfortunate about the problem with using keyboard keys in
Softsqueeze, but using the mouse is not too terrible I guess.

This is great Michael, I am very glad to see SlimCD updated.
