In the bios, sometimes there is a

 Errors - "halt on..."

Setting, and you can choose either "all" or "all, but keyboard". On the Via
mini itx this is on the first page of the bios. See if you can find this on
yours.

Subject: Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] anyone using ubuntu server edition?

So I have my server up and running using CC from this tutorial:
http://www.ulverston.myzen.co.uk/mini-itx/pages/installingCC.htm

I have WoL working and the auto power shut off at 11pm so I don't have
to have it on all night and I can put the pc away in a cupboard and run
it headless - this is how I want it to be :-)

The problem I have is after I have switched it off and unplugged the
monitor, keyboard and mouse and turn it on again I get a "keyboard
error" because it isn't plugged in.

I assume that there is a setting somewhere that I have missed that will
get rid of this error or is the easiest way to put it away in the
intended cupboard and just leave an old keyboard plugged in so that it
detects it on start up each time?

Thanks for any help,

Graham
