OK, I have my set up working now and listening to my music so much more these days but I have a query about the WoL packet.
I am running SC7 on a headless CC Linux box which is tucked away in a cupboard. Currently I use the SB remote to turn on the SB3 which sends a WoL packet to start my server - all good but the SB remote seems to be intermittent even with new batteries. Is there a way I can send the appropriate WoL packet to my server from either the laptop (running fluxbuntu) I use to control it when it is up and running or from a WinXP machine (which I rip cds on and then transfer them to the server using WinSCP) on the same network? I have tried to ping it but that is obviously not the same sort of packet as the WoL.
