What was losing performance due to the Qnap TS-101 being underpowered? I am wondering between two options of the TS-209 for the quick cheaper option or the TS-409 so that i can expand and have better RAID performance. What is the most popular NAS device for SlimServer and SqueezeCenter installations that you know of?
The Thecus N5200 looks a bit hardcore for my liking and price, are you going back to a PC to develop stuff for SC or is there another reason? Does this include a lot of the features as the QNAPs? I could get away with the TS-209 for around £250 and that should do me but as you mentioned in another thread how long would that take me to conserve in power bills, but then it does have the convenience of various features which i wouldn't have to run on workstations so could potentially save a lot more.
