What is the most popular NAS device for SlimServer and > SqueezeCenter installations that you know of? After 6.5.x, the web interface was really slow on the TS-101, it did only hvae 64MB and a 250MHz processor after all.

Yeah the N5200 isn't for everybody. I wanted network storage for all my data including music, photos, douments, downloads, backups, archival, etc. The N5200 fits the bill for me. The N5200 does have a lot of function built in, but it also has an open module framework so the user community has added a great deal of functionality with aditional software (including SqueezeCenter). Here are a list of modules - http://www.onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N5200_Module_List The N5200 and N5200Pro share the same OS and modules. I'm not intending developing for SC (I'm not a programmer) but I'd like to give something back by beta testing some of the nightly builds for the team. I have a reliable HTPC now too which is on all the time anyway. -- funkstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46965 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
