Thank you very much for this. I've had a Linux machine for a couple years, but have yet to have the time to get really comfortable with it. Your instructions were exactly what I needed. As others have noted, I had to reboot before I could get to the web interface. Even then, I was getting a message about no players being found, but that went away when I turned them on.
