This is the most frustrating piece of software I've come across in a long time. The forums have all of this info SCATTERED about and nothing I do seems to fix this. Jesus Age Christ. I mean, really. The installation files, in and of themselves, aren't that great. They miss a lot of stuff that is happening in reality.
I'm pulling my hair out here. I figured the problem lay in the fact that NO database was created for this. So, I redirected the server.prefs to look at a squeezecenter DB. Then, guess what I noticed? The database populated with tables after I did a re-install(9th one). But no matter which other little changes I make NOTHING changes the fact that when I do a scan, NOTHING HAPPENS. No music at all. The folder I pointed it to is slap full but your app shows ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO. And PLEASE, don't come back with a smart remark telling me to do something that was obvious to you, but not in the instructions. Also, how can I get this completely off of my machine. I already tried apt-get remove... Even if I do a COMPLETE REMOVAL with Synaptic Package Manager... it still doesn't remove it.
