You could try using startproc to start the daemon. I was lazy and haven't created a stand-alone startup script for squeezeslave or MusicIPServer. Here is the line that I added to my SC startup script that works:
To start is: startproc -u root $SQUEEZECENTER_HOME/squeezeslave -s -r3 To stop it: killproc -TERM squeezeslave I believe startproc accomplishes what the previous poster suggested. -- maggior Rich --------- Setup: 2 SB3s, 1 duet.
