It seems that I have the MCE version of the card since I do have a
radio tuner and I have no remote. See

connection for a remote receiver, but it adds support for FM radio
tuner and composite video. Older revisions of the card, typically
called PVR-150, were sold with a remote and remote receiver, but lack
the FM tuner and composite video inputs."

The tv tuner works very well with ubuntu, no need to install drivers
or anything. The image quality is great imho. I haven't played with
radio much, and in fact the dmesg says something suspicious:
