Hi radish, I have one LAN connector on the motherboard, which uses the uses the Intel D945GCLF2 chipset. I believe the NIC is a Realtek 8111c LAN adapter.
With regard to ifconig, I have not tried this. I am new to Clarkconnect and Linux - last night was my first ever venture into it - so much so that I don't even know how to use ifconfig. I'm assuming that Clarkconnect has a command prompt style interface, in similarity with MS DOS, but I have no idea where to find it or how to access it. I found a possible solution to the problem on the Clarkconnect forum here... http://www.clarkconnect.com/forums/showf...e=0&gonew=1 ...however, I can't see how I would be able to install the latest Realtek driver if I am not able to connect to the internet from the Clarkconnect machine. Thanks again Russ -- usr33t ------------------------------------------------------------------------ usr33t's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19961 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55834 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
