Brian, Thanks for your tips on using Squeezecenter IPKG.
I have loaded Squeezecenter 7.2 onto a Buffalo LinkStation Live using IPKG (with JTYMOD firmware). Squeezecenter runs, but scanning the music library does not locate any of my songs. I have checked multiple times that the path to the library is correct. And inside the Squeezecenter web interface, I can browse to Music Folder and see all the albums and songs. If I select an album or song from the Music Folder there, it then appears in the library. So the problem appears to be scanning. My music is in untagged WAV files, but I have tested fully tagged MP3 files in the music library and the result is the same. If I manually initiate a full rescan, I get this in the log: [08-12-16 06:38:39.5030] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1800) Error: While trying to run function coderef Slim::Control::Commands::wipecacheCommand]: [Transactions not supported by database at /opt/share/squeezecenter/Slim/Music/Import.pm line 279.] [08-12-16 06:38:40.0409] Slim::Control::Request::notify (1976) Error: Failed notify: Transactions not supported by database at /opt/share/squeezecenter/Slim/Schema/Playlist.pm line 35. I also own a LinkStation Pro that I have loaded with Squeezecenter 7.2 using a full FreeLink installation. That unit scans the music library fine. Any idea what's going on with the IPKG installed unit? -- TiredLegs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TiredLegs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52466 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
