Thanks. I have now edited the files using vi. I found one instance of the text string in each of the files CPAN/DBI.pm, scanner.pl, and Slim/Music/Import.pm, and two instances of the text string in Slim/Schema/Playlist.pm, all of which I commented out. Squeezecenter is now running a scan and seems to be working OK, although scanning generates these errors: [08-12-16 22:55:57.0704] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1398) Warning: [22:55:57.0644] Attempt to free unreferenced scalar: SV 0x3505e6c.
