You shouldn't need a script to call mplayer, unless you are using
AlienBBC but it's been so long since I've messed with that I don't know
if still uses one.

All you should have to do is insert the line I gave you in my previous
post into your custom-convert.conf, save it, and restart SqueezeCenter.
That came from http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/AppleLosslessUnix
with the only addition being the capabilities line.

Give that a try.
