I've successfully built an SC server on an MSI Wind PC, which boots from the internal CF card (4 GB). Now that everything is nicely configured, I would like to clone the CF card so that I have a safe backup. I have an additional external CF reader.
I bought another 4 GB card (not the exact one), and initially tried booting from the Ubuntu LiveCD and using DD to clone the booting CF to it. This operation failed because of "No space left on device" DD errors. I'm reasonably sure that this is a RAM disk issue (I have 2 GB), but since I'm very green regarding Ubuntu, I'm not sure how to get around this (something about "count"). I created a Clonezilla LiveCD but it's very very confusing. There are a zillion options and the nomenclature is not obvious and I really don't want to muck up the various drive configurations.
