I transfered the file by copying them to a USB external hard drive and
copying them back on the Linux box.

I can navigate to the file in an terminal window and it is there as
expected.

/Storage/Musique/CDs/Noël/Bing Crosby/The Best Of Bing Crosby- The
Christmas Collection/07 - Jingle Bells.flac

I do see the accented character OK (e umlaut).

However looking at the log again, I can see that the path is being
converted to a URL as:

file:///Storage/Musique/CDs/No%EBl/Bing%20Crosby/The%20Best%20Of%20Bing%20Crosby-%20The%20Christmas%20Collection/07%20-%20Jingle%20Bells.flac

The accented character is coded as %EB. Should it not be coded as
&euml?
