You can define the bands within the filter file, but I think it uses standard octave and fractions of it as band width. I use a mic recommended there, not sure but think something like ECM8000. Maybe you should download the new DRC version and see for what microphones are correction files available. I use a standard soundcard with phantom power for the mic, it was around 200 Euro. So you should get equipment for around 300$ maybe less. You will need a stand for the microphone, I bought a very cheap stand that is perfectly fine. -- Klaas Creator of *BrutefirDrc* see http://klaasprause.com/brutefirdrc Hardware: Squeezebox v3 with digital out tweaking and custom power supply, Tact TDA2200 Digital Amplifier, MBL 311-D Speaker ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Klaas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8026 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45347 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
