RPMS use a .spec file to configure what they do. If you download the
source RPM you can look at the spec file and make a conary file that
does the same thing. I have worked with rPath before and it's a good
system it is very flexible but making conary packages is very
difficult. There are some tools the convert spec to conery but it's
still an uphill battle.

I would recommend using VortexBox instead of spending hours getting a
conary package working you will have a system that just works in 1/2
hour. VortexBox makes a great file server as well and because it's
based on Fedora 10 it's easy to install other packages on it as well.

But hey I'm sure the rPath community would love a squeezecenter package
so don't let me stop you :)
