Hi

Refer to my signature for a link to a Wiki entry that explains
everything you need to do to get MiP going under Linux.

Rather than use the MiP plugin in SC I'd strongly recommend that you
use SugarCube to handle the SC/MiP interface - it fully eliminates the
need for SC to have any need to scan the MiP database and it creates
perpetual dynamic playlists based on a track/album - basically it makes
MiP what it should have been to begin with. Highly recommended.

Regarding archiving analysis to tracks, if your library is comprised of
FLAC files you'll have no issues.

Enjoy.
