For one, you appear to be saying that you can play your FLACs via iTunes, but iTunes has no support for FLAC. Second, why do you give your FLAC files a WAV file extension? I don't know exactly how SC determines the source codec (I would guess by file header and not by filename extension, but that is only a guess), but it certainly seems to be asking for trouble to name files encoded with one codec (FLAC) with the extension for a different codec (WAV). And even if it is innocuous, why mis-name your files? Or are they really WAV and not FLAC?
Also, using iTunes or WMP isn't a very helpful diagnostic because that only says the files are okay. It says nothing about the SC server configuration. Please, try it with SoftSqueeze (under Extras on the left hand side of the SC web interface). That will use the same protocols that your SB uses. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65608 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
