According to what you posted earlier, for "Enter IP address for Squeezecenter" you could enter "192.168.0.2". This is the IP address of eth0, your ethernet card on the server. Or, if you did stick exactly to what Gharris999 posted, you should rather enter "192.168.0.222"
I suspect a firewall on the server is blocking the communication between the SB and SC. The FAQ says "... allow connections to ports 3483, 9000 and 9090 for both UDP and TCP connections". The "service iptables stop" command that Gharris included in his directions normally shuts down the firewall.
