i am running freenas on a old box with 512mb ram and attached usb drives for backupp of main sata drive....works like a dream - more than capable of running sc via the slimNas plugin - running 7.4 with a boom and a classic...also use this for movie streaming to xbox which works reasonably well.....have win laptops and other ubuntu machines accessing it for files/media....
