You have to use svn to check the code out from http://svn.slimdevices.com/repos/jive/7.5/trunk then build it yourself (make -f Makefile.linux).
I have a working build on Ubuntu 9.04 with all of the latest updates. I added a lot of non-standard packages along the way but not just for this, so I really can't list off the exact dependancies. Deb is not something being built yet, and the option in the makefile appears to be just a placeholder for now. -k On 2009-10-28, at 4:33 PM, grahams wrote: > > I'm new the Squeezeboxes, but been an Ubuntu user for a while. > > Does anyone have Squeezeplay working on Ubuntu or other Distros? > > If so Is there a .deb (don't see one in the nighly SC builds)? > > If not, how can I help? > > Does this community create Linux solutions for Squeeze or Logitech? > > > -- > grahams > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > grahams's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33919 > View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70556 > > _______________________________________________ > unix mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
