I can download and run softsqueeze with squeezecenter 7.4.3 and run it - once. I can start and album at the first song and let it run and softsqueeze will play through on the songs on the album, as long as I make no changes. However, if I stop a song and try to load another one on the same album (or a different one), squeezecenter and the softsqueeze pictorials will happily indicate that the new song is playing, with an advancing clock and progress bar, but - no sound. In order to get sound I have to kill and restart the softsqueeze process.
On Squeezecenter, under settings/plugins, "Community Squeezecenter" shows up, but if I click on "settings" on the right end of that line, I get "404 Not Found: plugins/Extensions/settings/plugins/softsqueeze/settings/basic.html" Also, the system syslog file indicates these three lines repeated every few seconds: Mar 3 21:42:54 rrkamd64 postfix/local[3545]: fatal: open database /etc/aliases.db: Bad file descriptor Mar 3 21:42:55 rrkamd64 postfix/master[2014]: warning: process /usr/lib/postfix/local pid 3545 exit status 1 Mar 3 21:42:55 rrkamd64 postfix/master[2014]: warning: /usr/lib/postfix/local: bad command startup -- throttling I think somethings up with mysql relative to the /etc/aliases.db file, but I really haven't the slightest idea.
