After I found SoftSqueeze.jar, I ran it from a terminal, and got the same behavior, but I did learn more.
What I am seeing is that if I am playing a song, and then hit "pause" - (the two vertical line symbol) - then click on another song and hit "play" -(the right arrow) softsqueeze will show the new song queued up and squeezeboxserver will show a moving time progress bar, but I get no sound. If I do the same thing without hitting pause - i.e. just click on a new song and hit "play" I get sound. And if I have done the first action - I have already have song playing silently - and just hit "play" on another song (doesn't work with the song that is playing silently) I get sound. The terminal did not give any messages beside those similar to: 279010 [AudioDecoder-11] WARN javasound.verbose - audioDecoder did not write (0) the same number of bytes as read (4608) Is this behavior unusual? Also, is the "Settings" item on the "Community Squeezebox" line in the Settings/plugins menu of squeezeboxserver supposed to lead to a real menu? how do I set that up? -- rkerr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rkerr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8784 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75892 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
