I very quickly hooked up my USB drives to my Ubuntu 10.10 text box. Certainly it appears to be 'format & forget' for ext4 - there are no options that I could really see that might be tweaked etc.
Only thing I can suggest is I try to run a comparable test. I have a spare disk in my test box (SATA connection) that I could format as EXT4 & NTFS and run some SBS scans. That will take a while as I don't even have SBS on that box at the moment - but if it would help, I could try it. -- snottmonster ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snottmonster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=45063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87340 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
