Thanks for the reply. I simply restarted the daemon with:
# service squeezeboxserver restart
Currently it is up and running and will start without a problem, its
only the scanner that seems to crash the daemon.
I have disabled the dnla plugin (no difference unfortunately) but how
do you apply the startup parameters? I have always just used
/etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver to stop and start and the only startup
params with that are below:
Usage: /etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver
{start|stop|restart|reload|force-reload|condrestart|try-restart|status}
