Thanks for the answer but if I set it "fixed" in the LMS server I'm not able to use the volume control anymore (e.g. in iPeng for iphone). But the volume control should control my Denon using the LMS plugin. If LMS and all GUIs "think" that they are able to control the volume I'll be able to use e.g. the Denon plugin to control the volume directly on my AVR even I get always 100% volume out of the player.
