Hi Triode;
thanks for looking into this.
Now, I have to let the pants down.... -> I am not at all a unix person
and I do all this w/ a blindish cut&paste approach....

That said:
1) I need to restate my problem after some more investigation: The issue
occurs, if I cut the LAN / WLAN access to the server. It does NOT occur,
when I stop the LMS server and restart it. (Cutting the WLAN also
happens nightly along w/ the NAS power down in my environment)
2) I tried the debugging with "-d all=debug" and write it to a file with
"-f <filename>". But I did not find the debug file... Where would that
be? Do I need to use the "<"">" in real life (I didn't)
3) Regarding: "Also can you confirm the process stops (dies) rather than
being there but not working? If so can you enable core dumps and try to
collect one?" .... this is completely over my cut&paste head... sorry.
Can you give step by step instructions on what I should do to clarify
this?

Thanks for your patience & help!
Heiner
