Just set up SqueezePlug on a Raspberry Pi, then installed squeezelite;
set output to HDMI, connected to my Onkyo TX-NR5009 receiver.
Instant success, great stuff!
Only problem: higher sample rates. Tried to play some HD material (96kHz
FLAC, from Linn Records). Whatever I do, the Onkyo says the sample rate
is 48kHz.
With debugging, I see, for example:

[16:45:15.048010] output_init:1265 init output
[16:45:15.051099] output_init:1298 requested buffer_time: 20000

[16:45:29.049624] alsa_open:305 buffer time: 21312 period count: 4
buffer size: 2046 period size: 511

so, it looks like it's not transcoding, but it ends up as 48kHz on the
Onkyo, anyway. I'd be grateful for any ideas.
