Sync skipping occurs when one player plays a stream faster than another.
If the crystal speeds are similar then there should be minimal
skipping, but if you see it frequently then this could be due to the
frequencies being out by more.  Enable sync logging on the server to see
how much they are drifting and how frequently it is asking the player to
skip.  Does this match up with when you hear the skip.  If so I'm not
sure what can easly be done about it. Your might want to try an external
dac to see if this has a closer playback frequency to the hardware
player.
