Scouring through the shambles that is the Cubie forum (?) I recall reading something about specifying the hdmi resolution in one of those start-up files (1280x720 / 60p). Sorry, but I can't re-discover the ref. And you probably know that anyway. Looks like it'll be next week before my Cubie arrives ....
